SoftaCell™ is a SaaS application that enables users to compare paper technical
properties of pulps, simulate and optimize paper products with different mixing recipes and
finally simulate multiple layer board products. It is used to define the potentially
best furnish mix of paper and board, both quality and cost-wise. All results are easily
exported and reported for further usage. The software aims to make data handling and
simulation easy and efficient.
Benchmarking Tool
The Benchmarking tool enables comparison of various pulps and their paper technical properties. The refining level of pulps can be adjusted, simultaneously changing the property values as a function of refining. Also, grammage can be adjusted. The property values can be viewed in the form of a table or graph. The benchmarking tool provides an easy approach for the presentation of pulps and their properties.
Mix Optimization Tool
The Mix Optimization tool enables an easy way to simulate and optimize various paper grade furnish mixes. The goal is to find the most suitable and profitable mix for given product properties. The optimization functionality allows individual mixes to be automatically optimized based on restrictions like raw material proportion, refining level, or any paper technical property.
Board Simulation Tool
The Board Simulation tool enables the simulation of multi-layer boards and the analyzation and comparison of quality and cost properties. It works hand in hand with the Mix Optimization tool.
